Nandan Nilekani is the Chairman of the Unique Identification Authority of India since 25th June 2009, with the rank and status of a Cabinet Minister of the Union Government.

Formerly, the CEO and Managing Director of Infosys Technologies Limited, Nandan graduated in Electrical Engineering from IIT Mumbai.  He is a co-founder of Infosys and National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM).
